The Challenge

Mitchell's Barbershop operates three busy locations across Essex. With no digital queue system, staff had no way of communicating wait times to customers, and management couldn't see how busy each shop was without physically being there. Customers regularly walked in, saw a full waiting area, and left without the team ever knowing.

Scheduling was reactive — based on the previous week's memory rather than data. There was no cross-location visibility and no way to measure how many potential customers were lost to long waits.

What We Built

We designed and built Qlo, a real-time queue intelligence platform. Qlo tracks active wait times at each location and displays live estimates to customers via a simple, branded interface. Staff log customers in and out with a single tap.

On the management side, a unified dashboard shows live queues across all three locations, average wait times by hour and day, and historical trends. For the first time, the business has data to inform staffing decisions and measure walk-in conversion.
